OPEN MIC LIST & INFO (for future famer's)  i know that is NOT a word but i just created it! 

DON'T BE SHY!  Get your shot at comedy with 5 Minutes of Fame!  You do NOT have to be a "comedian" to get on stage!  What is the worse possible thing that could happen?  NOBODY LAUGHS!  Well, guess what?  Your friends will laugh and that I PROMISE!   So, if you are performing open mic, please bring at least 4 friends so you will have a few fans in the audience!  The cover for the show is only $5 with NO drink minimums.  Food is available and it is FABULOUS!   You have nothing to lose and fame to gain!

Top 10 INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE FAMERS...
1.  Bring at least 4 friends!  The more you bring, the more laughs you will get!  This will provide you with mucho love and support!
2.  Bring me a 3 x 5 or 4 x 6 card with your introduction.  List your NAME at the top and PRINT LARGE anything you would like for me to say about YOU!  (LARGE PRINT because I cannot SEE!!!)  IF you EMAIL me the information, it will make it easier for me to READ and avoid last minute preparation. (esp if you are late)  YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE AN INTRODUCTION EXCEPT FOR YOUR NAME...IT IS UP TO YOU! 
3.  We WILL have a DJ!  If you would like to have an INTRO song, email me the title and artist so we can upload on itunes. (5 days prior to the show, we will not be able to take your song request)
4.  Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the show and check in.  Your name will be at the door to get in free.
5.  DID NOT MAKE THE LIST?  You can go stand-by in case of no shows.
6.  This is YOUR OPEN MIC...YOU are in CONTROL of your TIME!  You can do 3 - 5 minutes.  Practice timing yourself at home and please do NOT STRESS over the TIME!  Some comedians talk FASTER than normal and some talk SLOWER - you also never know how much the crowd will LAUGH and slow down your time...so NO STRESS!  HOWEVER...PLEASE DO NOT GO OVER YOUR 5 MINUTES!  I DESPISE someone flashing a flash light at you because the last thing you need to worry about is TIME...so relax...BE RESPONSIBLE and TIME yourself at HOME!  I will gently walk up on the stage and interrupt you if you start to go over too much!  OK?  OK!
7.  YES you may bring notes on stage, cheat sheets, or a poster board for all I care!
8.  YES there will be a stool provided on stage for your drink, notes, good luck charm, or whatever you want to have with you.
9.  You WILL be speaking thru a hand held mic -so practice at home with this concept in mind.  Especially if you hand gesture alot!  Remember...you have to SPEAK into the mic...it doesn't work well over your head or pointed at the crowd! 
10.  Lets see...can I come up with # 10?  GET EXCITED AND INVITE YOUR FRIENDS!  THIS WILL BE AN EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEVER FORGET AND DO NOT LET ANYONE RAIN ON YOUR FAME!!!   Some very FAMOUS COMEDIANS are quiet, shy and very dry...do NOT let your friends or family tell you that you cannot do this!  (and sorry to say...but some will try)  YOU CAN DO IT!  I look so forward to meeting you!
