PAUL J. WILLIAMS!  Thursday, June 10, 2010

Paul J. Williams has been making people laugh since a very young age.  Paul J. loves this quote from his idol, Lily Tomlin,"I realized early on that people were laughing at me...I decided "hey, I might as well try to be funny!" His wit, rapid-fire comedy and character work make this multi-talented actor/comedian in high demand.  His humor draws on his family, his experiences as a single male, his Texas upbringing and his political and social observation of the world around him.  He spent 6 years honing his craft in New York and has appeared at Caroline's and Gotham Comedy Club, as well as appearances all over the U.S. and on cruise ships.  This past October, his first television special, ONE NIGHT STAND UP-HOLLYWOOD premiered on the MTV/LOGO network.  www.PaulJWilliams.com

Hugley, Hope Flood, Reynaldo Rey, and Michael Prince.   Piper will always give a great show no matter if the crowd is 1,000 or 100.

JAMES HANNAH!  Thursday, February 11, 2010.

James Hannah began his comedy career in Chicago, November 1988.

Enduring a harsh and challenging rookie season. Undaunted, James sharpened his wit and skill by constantly writing. Other comedians found his comedy quips and insults irresistible and start incorporating them into their acts. James even originated a stock joke comedians all over the country were using, "You look like a Mississippi pimp. Bitch betta have your sweet potatoes". Before long, James became known as the "greatest pure joke writer" - Michael Reis, executive producer of "The Simpsons".

James quickly became a favorite of comedy fans throught the midwest. However, no good comedian is satisfied with regional success. So, in 1995, James took a trip to New York city. Well aware of New York's brutal comedy circuit, James welcomed the challenge. Using his brash, tell-it-like-it-is, matter of fact style. This trip paid off, landing him on HBO's "Def Comedy Jam". Where he incorporated "Black Jeopardy" and the hood-famous, "Your Ass Is Ghetto" test.

Armed with great confidence and originality, James prides himself on not being the typical comedian. Most urban stand ups are too R&B with their routines. Roach jokes, oral sex jokes and "Black  people do this, White people do that" mediocrity. James considers himself a Marvin Gaye of stand ups. Because he talks about  what's going on. Currently, James lives in Los Angeles, with his wife Crystal, their 2 sons and baby daughter. He is a current member of the Writer's Guild of America. Having written on television shows, "The Steve Harvey Show", "My Wife & Kids", "Cedric The Entertainer Presents", and "The Big House", Chris Rock's "Never Scared", "Weekends At The D.L." on Comedy Central. James has rewritten two major film releases, "Cooking 4 Luv" and "Spinderfella". Both are currently in production.

James brings hard, funny relief to a show replete with reality and hard earned life lessons. James has appeared on several stand up comedy TV shows, HBO "Def Comedy Jam", BET's "ComicView",  "P. Diddy's Bad Boys of Comedy", "Jamie Foxx's Laffapolooza" and recently taped BET's "ComicView, One Mic Stand", Who's Got Jokes on TV One and "Martin Lawrence's First Amendment".
